Tiger Salamander (Ambystoma tigrinum) Bioactive Vivarium Kit

A complete self-cleaning, self-maintaining bioactive Tiger Salamander habitat care kit. Tiger Salamanders are a hobby favorite, with their bright patterns and silly 'smiles'. They have endearing traits and are often the first-time Salamander choice for beginners due to their hardiness.

They have a color gradient of gray, dark brown, or black as their main color with light brown to bright yellow spots or stripes. They are one of the largest salamanders in North America and gain endearing rolls as they get older. 

This kit is for terrestrial adults who have a wide range throughout all of the central United States and most of the East Coast. Terra Firma substrate will hold their needed humidity and tunnels without the need for a drainage layer. Safe moss and plants are also included, as they are sensitive to acidic peat moss. Leaf litter on top creates great enrichment for hiding and hunting. 

 This kit does not contain the enclosure, clean-up crews, or any UVB or heating elements your pet will need!
